Who doesn’t remember Eminem’s iconic song “Lose Yourself”? The opening guitar riff immediately inspires you to take that one shot, I mean, it’s once in a lifetime, right?

The country of New Zealand certainly thinks so. They’re ruling party has ripped off the song for a series of TV ads, and Eminem is not happy.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver just ran a story about Eminiem’s legal battle with the Kiwis, and it’s one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while. It’s worth watching just to see a room full of New Zealand lawyers listen intently while the song plays, not to mention the lawyer’s very legalese-heavy explanation of why the song is so inspiring.
